Eureka Chinatown Project

In 2020, there were 11,500 incidences of hate crimes against Asians and Pacific Islanders. The Stop AAPI Hate did a study and noted that the COVID-19 pandemic increased harassment, slurs, shunning, physical violence, and or other forms of discrimination. When I read that a 62 year old woman in NY was killed in one of the most liberal areas in the nation, I knew I had to participate.

Charlie Moon Way

Charlie Moon Way is a tribute to Charlie Moon Sr. a forgotten past that should never be forgotten or repeated. From a place of struggle there is always opportunity to create something positive and that’s what the Eureka Chinatown Project and Humboldt Asian Pacific Islanders groups have done.
